In 2025, something special took root in the heart of Lismore.
Born from the vision of Multitask, Sprout wasn’t just created to be a café – it was designed to be a movement. A place where everyone feels welcome. A space where community, creativity, and inclusion are served up daily – along with some seriously good food and great coffee.
Though the name “Sprout” is new, the heart behind it isn’t.
From the very beginning, our mission has been crystal clear: To empower people living with a disability to live rich, meaningful lives in a truly inclusive community.
But Sprout didn’t stop at just being a café. We evolved into a creative hub – where local artists can proudly showcase and sell their work. Every brushstroke and sculpture on our walls tells a story, and every sale supports the thriving arts community here in Lismore.
We’re not just brewing coffee — we’re brewing connection, opportunity, and change.
This is Sprout. And this is just the beginning.
Rebuilt and adapted for resilience following the Lismore floods of 2022, Sprout’s home has become a beautiful, inclusive and accessible space for all today enjoy and thrive. With a permanent art gallery, workspaces, outdoor courtyards and full commercial kitchen, we’re very proud to be investing in the future of the people of Lismore.
